SIDNEY TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - Korson's Tree Farms in Montcalm County's Sidney Township will supply the White House Christmas tree this year.
It will be on display in the Blue Room.
"Carrying on the tradition of providing the White House Christmas tree is pretty exciting for us," owner Rex Korson told WOOD-TV.
Korson said they've been trying to win the honor since 2009.
"We're proud to represent West Michigan and have a tree from Michigan at the White House," he said. "We've been at it for a while, so to finally win, we're really proud."
It's expected a 22-foot concolor fir will be sent to Washington.
