GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Grand Rapids Police are putting portable police cameras in a parking lot near where two men lost their lives in shooting within a matter of weeks.
GRPD detectives are continuing to investigate a shooting that happened Tuesday morning and the August 10th shooting of 38-year-old Randy Campbell.
The two fatal shootings happened within weeks of each other and within feet of the same location. GRPD Chief Eric Winstrom says officers are looking for answers but are being met with closed doors and closed mouths.
The cameras are now in place near the corner of Sigsbee Street and Diamond Avenue.
