Chicago Developer chosen for major Grand Rapids project

(Grand Rapids, Mi) A developer group out of Chicago has been chosen to work on the new Fulton and Market towers that will change the Grand Rapids skyline. The Magellan development group will be part of the 797-million-dollar project spearheaded by the Devos and Van Andel families. The project will see three towers built and play home to 400 thousand square feet of office space, more than 1500 employees. It will have about 20-thousand square feet of retail space in one tower and then high-end apartments and condos along with a hotel in the other. The project which will go in the spot where Charlie’s Crab used to be should be completed by late 2028 or possibly spring of 2029 assuming everything stays on track.
