The Grand Rapids edition of the classic Monopoly board game has been unveiled, featuring iconic landmarks and businesses unique to the city. The Blue Bridge takes the coveted Boardwalk spot as the most expensive property on the board. In a nod to the city's brewing heritage, the luxury tax has been replaced by a "craft brewing tax." Each Community Chest space highlights a local nonprofit organization.

The game includes popular local sites such as the Amway Grand Plaza, Gerald R. Ford International Airport, John Ball Zoo, Schuler Books, and Mr. Burger. Other notable locations featured are the Grand Rapids Public Museum, Bridge Street Market, and Fish Ladder Park.

According to WOODTV.com, the game was developed by Top Trumps USA, licensed by Hasbro to create custom Monopoly editions. The company collaborated with the community to select the featured landmarks and businesses.

The Grand Rapids edition is available for purchase at local retailers and online. Given the popularity of the Detroit edition, which sold out quickly last year, enthusiasts are encouraged to act fast to secure a copy of this unique version.
