GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Kent County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of a man's death in the Grand River on Thursday.
It happened near the Leonard Street bridge in downtown Grand Rapids. The city says some of its fire-rescue workers responded around 11:20 a.m. after a body was spotted in the river by someone.
The department’s water rescue team conducted a shore-based recovery.
The man's name and age had not been released at the time of publication.
